In aid of the National Day of Memory for victims of ‘Honour’ Based Abuse on 14th July 2022, The Sky Project held a conference with some wonderful speakers from the Naz and Matt Foundation and Hidayah.

Our Director, Sabeena Pirooz attended the GWH Medicine in Society Conference. An engaging conference with 100% respondents rating the presentation ‘outstanding’.

Our Director, Sabeena Pirooz and Fundraising Co-ordinator and Volunteer, Zara Liedl glammed up to attend the Bristol Life awards where The Sky Project were finalists as ‘Charity of the Year’.

A great way to start the year for The Sky Project. Being shortlisted as Charity of the Year in the National Great British Business and Community Awards.

Another successful training session with the Employment Lawyers Association.

Our Director, Sabeena Pirooz met with Mark Shelford today to discuss how to reduce Forced Marriage and ‘Honour Based Abuse cases in Avon and Somerset. Collaboration is key.

It was a True Honour Award from IKWRO for our Director, Sabeen Pirooz for the pro bono work to end ‘honour’ based abuse.
